Allison Redmon is a Texas girl, living in Saudi Arabia, where she creates “Family Films” and photos for families in the Middle East & the USA using a storytelling approach. She is passionate about creating “Family Films” for her clients that are both artistically beautiful while grounded in honest, real moments, forever preserving the everyday memories and sounds of her client’s lives. Allison and her husband, Andrew, have been married for 13 years and together have a 4 year old daughter, and a set of 2 year old twins. Allison’s approach to her films and photography is one that is grounded in storytelling – documentary style. She also teaches other photographers how to create Family Films over at FilmingLife Academy as well as with the Know.SA company in Saudi Arabia.
What do you like most about your job?
I adore filming and photographing the real & everyday moments in each family that I meet. I love that when a client gets their finished Family Film from me, they will be able to look back and hear the sounds and voices of their children, relive those little cuddles, and see how incredible their family story really is. I firmly believe that there is beauty in each and every family’s story and that their memories deserve to be documented.
Tips for your clients…
Book your family film early! I tend to be booked about 6 months in advance. I travel for these films (USA, Middle East, Europe, etc.) so keep an eye on which countries I’ll be in and secure your spot early!

My name is Amanda Peasley. My husband would tell you that I don’t have a practical bone in my body, and he’s probably right! I embrace emotions and dreams, and I’m hopelessly romantic! Spontaneity and change excite me. Over 17 years of marriage to my talented musician, we’ve lived in 3 states, 3 countries,10 homes, and added 6 kids to our family. Life for me happens in Abqaiq – and you can’t miss our house! Just look for the 8 passenger golf cart parked in the driveway!
What do you like most about your job?
I love that my job is different every day!! Every family is different, and has a unique story. It’s such a joy and an honor to be invited into your lives to hear your stories, hold your babies and celebrate your love. Capturing the honesty and curiosity of childhood, along with the strength and tenderness of parenthood is truly a privilege!
Tips for your clients…
Let your kids be themselves! I don’t want them to be quiet statues with frozen smiles! I want to see their true personalities, so we can capture genuine expressions, and have fun doing it! I love authenticity!
Relax and enjoy each other’s company. This should be a stress free experience! Just give your family your full attention, and let me take care of the rest!

Audrey Bayle Photography
Hi, I am Audrey a French family photographer. I am an expat since 2012. I lived in Houston, Kuala Lumpur and now Al Khobar. As many people who are following their spouse in this adventure I had to quit my job to start a new life.
What looks like a big challenge became an opportunity for me to think about who I really am and what I want to do in my life. I am a true nostalgic person and I always loved photography. It is only when my daughter was born that I decided to take the plunge, take my passion and make it my job.
Now I wake up every morning knowing that I do something I love: Creating family memories for the people I photograph.
What do you like most about your job?
I am a Lifestyle & Portrait Photographer. Most of my work are candid pictures (I also do few traditional pictures).
What I like is that everything is about Natural. I work with natural light, I let the people be themselves and try to capture the best of those moments of life. I try to capture every connexion, every bond between members of the families.
But what I prefer the most is when I receive feedback from my clients, telling me that they are happy about the pictures. If I can bring a piece of happiness in every family and help them to create memories there is nothing more enjoyable.
Tips for your clients…
A photography session is never 100% relax, people always wonder how they will look on the pictures and it is totally normal.
The first thing I am telling them is BE YOURSELF! Everything will be OK.
I always prepare the photo session with the families to know who they are, what they like, how they describe themselves…
I ask them also to think about moments they would like to be captured. It gives me an idea about what to shoot and what is important to them.
And the last tip I can give is: ENJOY!

My name is Nazia Asif. I am professionally a Pharmacist, however, I have been doing photography from last few years. It is my passion, which then later turned into a profession. Currently I am teaching Adobe Photoshop too.

Hello! My name is Hina Mushtaq. I have always loved capturing smiles and milestones of my kids, but I honestly never thought that I would pick up a professional camera and learn how to use it. It wasn’t until my husband really gave me the courage to try. I have been a photographer for 5 years now and absolutely love what I do!
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m relaxing with my family, doing projects around the house, learning something new, hanging out with friends, or out running errands.
What do you like most about your job?
Photographing kids in elementary school means never a dull moment, every photo and smile tells a different story.
I love capturing those moments and emotions. While I photograph I learn new things, meet new people and see new things.
Tips for your clients…
My approach is relaxed, with a minimum amount of direction or posing. A photography session should produce not just beautiful images, but an enjoyable and stress-free experience as well. Online booking, relaxed sessions, your favorite location and ability to download digital photos make everything easy and simple.

Hi, I’m Louise! I am a firm believer that it is a gift to embrace life in its fullness and photography is one of my passions. Since I can remember I was drawn to visual story telling. I worked as a Wedding and Portrait Photographer in both Europe and South Africa before making Saudi Arabia our home.

I am a geophysicist by profession. The years of 2K brought a creative self awareness within myself. The journey into the world of photography started with the encouragement and mentoring from my husband, Sadaqat Ali. It’s like diving into an ocean where the passion increases as you dive deep. Bring your best smile and yourself; Be natural; October to April is the best time of the year in Saudi to plan an outdoor family shoot; Outline your expectations and requirements and discuss it with me before your shoot; Rest well and eat well on the day of a shoot; Your kids are the best subjects, let them be playful and cheerful; Bring a family activity that all of you can enjoy together – this will help me capture some joyous moments; Wear color coordinated clothes for the outdoor shoots.

I’m a geophysicist by education and photographer by passion. I love to shoot people, kids, places, macros, sports, architecture, abstract and street photography. I try and shoot photos that tell a story and capture emotions rather than only moments. I always try to bring a photojournalistic angle to my photos as I love to shoot candids. I’ve been shooting families and events in Saudi Aramco for the last 9 years.

Relax. Take it easy. Smile. Don’t get tense.
Don’t worry too much about what the kids are doing on the shoots, we love to shoot candids and children are shot best when they are naturally behaving.
Don’t rush, photography is a creative process and like any other creative art, needs some thinking to, mostly on the shoot.

Hey! I am Sana, I have been living in Saudi Arabia all my life. I recently shifted to Khobar – and I am loving it! I also run a small arts business as a part of Strokes n Scribbles. I am a mom of two amazing little cub-lings (boys). My passion to frame their precious moments led me to taking photography seriously. I hold a degree in textile designing – but have a strong passion for photography. I am self-taught and love taking photos in natural light.
What do you like most about your job?
The most favorite part of my job is I get to see relationships of families up-close. And how all my client families although coming from completely different backgrounds are still so similar. The close knitted bond, the chemistry – I love witnessing it and capturing it.
My MOST favorite subject to shoot are kids, kids and kids! I love how spontaneous they are, and how raw. They don’t pose – and nobody can make them pose. And yet they are the best things that fit in a frame. Having said that I do newborn, cake-smash, maternity, couples and family sessions.
Tips for your clients…
Bring in your best smile.
Sleep well before the photoshoot day.
Come with a positive frame of mind. Leave the negativities and tensions back home, and have some fun at the location with your family.
Don’t hesitate in getting a session done – they last a lifetime. Best thing to look back at when kids grow up.

I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii. I married my college best friend and we now have three children ages 11, 7, and 2. I enjoy my family time and find great satisfaction in raising my children. We have lived in Saudi for 4 years. I currently work at the Hills School as one of the yearbook staff. Your children have probably seen me in the halls, in their classrooms, or at recess taking their pictures. I thoroughly enjoy taking pictures of children. What I like best about being a photographer… I love freezing time! I find capturing moments and phases of people’s lives very gratifying – from capturing the tiny feet of infants to the spunkiness of youth, and from the achievements of graduating teens to the cozy relationships established in families. When I can capture any of these, it brings a smile to my face.
